The day had been perfect,crystal clear,birds quavered,impeccable for a newborn day,just not mine.

When I woke that day I quickly checked the rat cage,empty,I was to late,I sobbed!

My mom called for presents.Instantaneously,I wiped my eyes and went to the living room.I was astounded!Taking a seat next to an overflowing gift table was extremely hard considering that the chair was full.I chose a small rectangle box but before I could open it a,small,furry,whiskered,nose poked out through a hole.I was flabbergast as I opened it,this was the one,the same rat that mom said I couldn’t have,the same rat that i’v been begging for,the same rat that I was just looking for.

I screamed and jumped with joy.

I jumped to my mom smothering her with affection,before naming my rat Cheerio.

Love exceeds all limits.
